Special Day for Trent

Today is Trent's birthday, his kindergarten music program, and his turn for snack day. I was excited to go and listen to Trent sing. Trent has really grown this year. He is so shy or was so shy and now is coming into his own. Trent loves music and to sing. He knows all the latest songs on Radio Disney. It's fun to watch Trent enjoy himself singing. Scott made it home in time for Trent's program and his birthday festivities.

After the music program, we went to Trent's class for his snack day. Trent and I made cupcakes for his class with bat rings on top of each cup cake. He was so excited to give everyone a bat ring. As we were passing out the cupcakes, Trent told me that he told his class today was Batman's birthday. So while each student came up to Trent for a cupcake, they said, "So Trent, are you really Batman?" It was so funny. Trent would smile and say, "Yes!". Then he would turn and wink at me. Trent is so funny, I am glad that he is letting his classmates and teacher see this side of him.

I love the Batman story, what a character! I am glad it was special for him.
I can't believe that kids still say cha-cha-cha!

I'm so jealous of your year-round school schedule. How do you like it? I'm also jealous that you can bake home-made treats for school. Ours have to be store-bought and approved by the school nurse first.
